survey weights, grouped operations, and 'tidyverse'
integration. Provides 80 functions for data import/export
('SPSS', 'Stata', 'SAS', 'Excel') with label roundtripping and
tagged NA preservation, label management (variable labels,
value labels, type conversions, missing value declaration),
data transformation (recoding, dummy coding, standardization,
centering), descriptive statistics, codebook generation,
hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, post-hoc comparisons,
weighted statistics, scale analysis, regression, non-parametric
tests, exact tests, factorial ANOVA, and ANCOVA. Every analysis
offers compact print() and detailed summary() output with
toggleable sections. Statistical results are validated against
'SPSS' version 29 within documented per-tier tolerances (see
the compatibility vignette for per-function status). Methods
follow the published algorithms of IBM Corp. (2023, &quot;IBM SPSS
Statistics Algorithms&quot;), the Lilliefors-corrected normality
test of Dallal and Wilkinson (1986)
&lt;doi:10.1080/00031305.1986.10475419&gt;, and the adjusted
standardized residuals of Haberman (1973)
&lt;doi:10.2307/2529686&gt;. Designed for survey researchers, social
scientists, and students working with complex survey designs.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/yannickdiehl/actions/runs/36870596123</link><pubDate>Thu, 01 Oct 2026 06:36:40 GMT</pubDate><r:package>mariposa</r:package><r:version>0.7.4</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://yannickdiehl.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/yannickdiehl/mariposa</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>hypothesis-testing.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>hypothesis-testing.html</r:filename><r:title>Comparing Groups and Testing Hypotheses</r:title><r:created>2025-09-29 06:03:26</r:created><r:modified>2026-08-26 14:55:13</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>data-transformation.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>data-transformation.html</r:filename><r:title>Data Transformation</r:title><r:created>2026-03-14 06:19:15</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-30 06:24:30</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>descriptive-statistics.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>descriptive-statistics.html</r:filename><r:title>Descriptive Statistics and Frequencies</r:title><r:created>2025-09-29 06:03:26</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 13:42:18</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>data-io.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>data-io.html</r:filename><r:title>Importing and Exporting Data</r:title><r:created>2026-03-14 06:19:15</r:created><r:modified>2026-07-02 07:56:15</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>introduction.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>introduction.html</r:filename><r:title>Introduction to mariposa</r:title><r:created>2025-06-30 06:20:41</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 13:42:18</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>labels-and-missing-values.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>labels-and-missing-values.html</r:filename><r:title>Labels and Missing Values</r:title><r:created>2026-03-14 06:19:15</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-30 06:24:30</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>regression-analysis.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>regression-analysis.html</r:filename><r:title>Regression Analysis</r:title><r:created>2026-03-01 20:33:22</r:created><r:modified>2026-08-26 15:13:38</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>scale-analysis.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>scale-analysis.html</r:filename><r:title>Scale Analysis</r:title><r:created>2026-03-01 20:33:22</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-30 07:24:30</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>spss-compatibility.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>spss-compatibility.html</r:filename><r:title>SPSS Compatibility Status</r:title><r:created>2026-05-19 11:43:59</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-30 09:09:45</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>correlation-analysis.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>correlation-analysis.html</r:filename><r:title>Understanding Relationships: Correlation Analysis</r:title><r:created>2025-09-29 06:03:26</r:created><r:modified>2026-09-29 19:52:02</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>survey-weights.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>survey-weights.html</r:filename><r:title>Working with Survey Weights</r:title><r:created>2025-09-29 06:03:26</r:created><r:modified>2026-03-14 06:19:15</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
